A software partner that stays after launch

Mills Technologies is an Accra-based software studio. We build web-based systems that fit the way an organisation already works, then support them for the long run.

Inside Mills Technologies

Our mission

To put dependable, well-designed software within reach of every organisation in Ghana.

Our vision

To be the software partner West African institutions trust with the systems they cannot afford to lose.

Where we are

Apatrapa New Site, Kumasi, Accra, Ghana. We work with clients across Ghana and the wider region — discovery on site where practical, everything else over video and shared previews.

How we operate

Four things we will not compromise on

01

We quote before we build

You get a written, itemised, fixed price after discovery — not an hourly meter that runs wherever it likes.

02

You own everything

Source code, data and deployment access are yours. Nothing we build is locked to us, ever.

03

We design for the connection you have

Systems are tested on weak mobile data and intermittent power, because that is where they will actually run.

04

We stay after launch

Handover is not the end of the relationship. Most of our clients are still with us years later.

The team

The people who will actually build it

You work directly with the people writing the code — not an account manager relaying messages.

How we work

No surprises, from first call to long after launch

Every project follows the same path. You always know what stage you are at, what happens next, and what it costs.

  1. 01 · Week 1

    Discovery

We sit with the people who will use the system and map what happens today — including the workarounds. You get a written scope and a fixed price before any code is written.

  2. 02 · Weeks 2–3

    Design

You see and click through the screens before we build them. Changes at this stage cost a conversation rather than a change request.

  3. 03 · Weeks 3–10

    Build

We build in two-week blocks and show you working software at the end of each one. Nothing is saved up for a big reveal.

  4. 04 · Launch week

    Launch

We migrate your existing data, train your team in their own words, and stay on site or on call for the first days of live use.

  5. 05 · Ongoing

    Support

Monitored hosting, nightly backups, security patches and a named person who answers the phone. We do not disappear after handover.

Why organisations stay with us

We had tried two systems before and abandoned both. What made the difference this time was that Godfred's team sat through a Sunday service and watched how our ushers actually work before designing anything. The system fits us instead of the other way round.

Terminal reports used to take my assessment office the better part of a week. This term we finished in a morning. The parent portal has quietly solved a problem I had stopped believing was solvable.

The offline mode is the reason we are still using it. Our previous POS stopped the moment the internet went, and in this area that is daily. Millstech asked about that on the first call — nobody else had.
