Multi-Branch POS & Inventory

Adom Supermarket

Three branches moved onto one till and stock system that keeps selling through internet outages.

The challenge

Each branch ran its own till book and counted stock monthly. The owner could not get a same-day sales figure, and shrinkage was only discovered at stock-take. An earlier cloud POS had been abandoned because it stopped working whenever the connection dropped — which was often.

What we built

We built an offline-first till: sales are written locally and sync automatically when connectivity returns, so a cashier never waits on the network. Stock decrements as items sell, with reorder alerts per branch and a consolidated view for the owner.

Mobile Money and card payments are captured at the till and reconciled against the daily Z-report.

The outcome

The owner opens one dashboard each morning for all three branches. Stock variance at the last count was under two percent, down from double digits, and no sale has been lost to an outage since launch.

The offline mode is the reason we are still using it. Our previous POS stopped the moment the internet went, and in this area that is daily. Millstech asked about that on the first call — nobody else had.
