The challenge
Jobs were assigned in a WhatsApp group and recorded in a notebook. Customers called the office for updates, which meant calling the driver. Proof of delivery was a photo that lived on someone's phone, and invoicing lagged deliveries by weeks.
What we built
Consignments are booked once and assigned to a driver, who works from a mobile view showing only their runs. Drivers capture a signature and photo at drop-off, which attaches to the consignment record immediately.
Customers get a tracking link, and completed deliveries flow straight into invoicing.
The outcome
Office staff stopped fielding status calls, and invoices now go out the same week as delivery rather than a month later.
